Marijean Harris is a Canadian contemporary landscape painter based in Fergus, Ontario. Her work probes the intersection of landscape, memory and abstraction, translating the experience of place into layered colour, gesture and mark-making. Through processes of accumulation, scraping and erasure she builds atmospheric canvases where observed detail and imagined space converge. A former graphic designer, Harris transitioned to full‑time painting in 2020 and now sustains a disciplined studio practice dedicated to contemporary landscape.
