Based in Fergus, Ontario, I was raised in the rural landscape of Caledon, where an early and enduring connection to the natural world continues to shape my work. After earning an Honours BFA in Visual Arts (Studio) from York University, I studied Graphic Design at Humber College and built a career as a commercial artist before transitioning to full-time painting in 2020. I now maintain a focused studio practice centered on contemporary landscape.
My paintings explore imagined terrains shaped by mood, light, and memory rather than direct observation. I am drawn to what lies beneath the visible—what persists, shifts, and resurfaces over time. While grounded in a strong foundation of observation, composition, and colour, my work has evolved toward a more expressive and interpretive approach, where landscape becomes a vehicle for reflection and emotional resonance.
My work has been exhibited in numerous juried exhibitions and is held in public and private collections across Canada and the United States. I am the recipient of multiple awards and an elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists.
